Phantasmagoria
This collection explores the myths we carry as humans—where the ancient meets the personal. Through works like Ishtars and The Serpent Spares the Mother-to-Be, I look at timeless themes: life, fertility, and power. I created these paintings between 2008 and 2010, while living on my family's farm in the mountains of Lebanon, surrounded by weaver's broom (Al-Wazzal) and pine trees. I loved making them. The thinking about why I create came later. While working, I simply followed my instincts
