Mansion is a welcome oasis to those of us who find ourselves outside the mainstream art scene of the city.
Its doors have been open to the public for 7 years, growing its community and nurturing its independence. I can’t thank Mansion enough for its support, warmth and inspiration from the mission of its members. Every work in this exhibition was created within my studio here and stands as a testament to this place.

Down here, we have loud voices but not the ears to listen.
Motherhood can be a crime.
Love imprisoned behind thick walls.
Lives sacrificed for the ancestors.
Hey spaceman, have you ever believed in god?
Down here, our god punishes everyone for their sins and dirty thoughts.
Fathers forgive all the criminals, except the mothers.
